The Property

Kasiiya Papagayo is a luxury wilderness retreat resort consisting of seven tented suites at Kasiiya which are located within 123 acres of jungle with a minimum distance of 40m. between each. Positioned right by two spectacular sandy beaches, as it is, and in the heart of a dry forest jungle assists in offering a bio-diverse landscape which makes it the perfect spot for numerous activities such as snorkelling, kayaking and stand up paddle boarding.

The lack of walls and doors at the property, with a few exceptions such as at the restaurant’s restrooms, creates a constant feeling of freedom, independence and a limitless outdoors sense, even when in the indoors. The expansive level of tranquility applies throughout the resort which is completely secluded and located at the end of the road, guaranteeing for a traffic-less experience.
In terms of facilities, the tents are fully equipped with high-quality products, soft linen and the right level of technology so that comfort sees no sacrifice although not allowed to fully intrude. Air-management has been very carefully considered; more specifically, the air inside all of the tented suites naturally circulates due to the five-layer fabric of the walls and yet the fabric prohibits access for insects or jungle wildlife. At The Kasiiya Spa guests will feel relaxed as they rely on the therapist’s trained hands; most treatments take place amid the jungle and incorporate local volcanic stones, oils and mud. The restaurant and the sunset lounge provide fresh gastronomic, local and international menus sourced by local farms, using organic ingredients wherever possible.

Room & Suite Types

Seven tented suites sit patiently either on the main beach or at the top of the hill. Depending on the views, the size of your group and the experience you wish to have you can choose among the ‘Floating Bird Suites’, the ‘Lazy Turtle Suites’, the ‘Laughing Whale Suites’ and the ‘Floating Bird Nest Suite’. The smaller suites are 110 sq. meters (1,190 sq. ft) and are able too accommodate up to two adults and two children while the larger ones are 120 sq. meters (1,300 sq.ft) are can accommodate up to two adults and three children.
The property provides the perfect is ideal for large families or groups of friends while it is a really special honeymoon destination, too.

Kasiiya Papagayo is located in an extraordinary 123-acre peninsula in the heart of Guanacaste, Costa ︎Rica. Kasiiya is located in ︎Playa ︎Matapalito, four kilometers west of ︎Playa ︎Matapalo, Guanacaste, on the ︎North West coast of Costa ︎Rica and just 45 minutes from ︎Liberia international airport.
