Overview
Located in one of the most dazzling islands of Greece, Santorini, Santo Maris impresses with its sophisticated still cosy, boho—chic white washed domed Suites and Villas and succeeds in catching global attraction through a repeating award-winning performance. We are delighted to welcome Santo Maris Oia to the hand-picked collection of One Nice Hotel properties and we are thrilled to guide you through this magnificent property’s world.

The Property
Santo Maris Oia is a 5-star all-suite and villas property which stands out for tis peaceful surroundings, its unobstructed views to Oia’s renowned sunset and its luxury yet not daunting facilities. This unique property guarantees for ultimate convenience, tranquility and privacy through its accommodation options, which consist of three luxurious Suites and two private Villas, spreading across five neighborhoods which are named after the five main island complexes of Greece. Among the numerous options and things to do, guests may indulge into the wellness treatments offered at Anassa Spa, embrace new adventures through the experiences that the dedicated Guest Experience Specialists Team could design upon request or just relax by the five different swimming pools of the hotel. The awarded ALIOS ILIOS Restaurant, is an a la Carte al fresco restaurant by the main infinity pool of the hotel. It offers Greek Creative gourmet flavors and combines panoramic vistas to the sunset of Oia with sensational food and exceptional wines. The Pool Bar “Akratos” offers locally inspired cocktails and delicious courses inspired by the Mediterranean cuisine.

Room & Suite Types
Across the hotel’s various Suite and Villa categories, guests would enjoy convenient indoors spaces without having to sacrifice space for views or vice versa. The different categories sprawl across eleven types and each of them is able to accommodate a minimum of three guests.
Your personal preferences, size of group and views will most likely define what is the most suitable type for your trip but we could not stop ourselves from picking some favourites.
As we entered the Suite Pool Front suites, we were astonished by the sense of a welcoming type of warmth which is spontaneously communicated through the unbiased decor and reflects the island’s character whilst providing enough space for all our belongings. The Junior Suite Sea View suites and Suite Sea View are beautifully appointed and on top of everything else, they provide sea views, too. Their interior design mixes white washed and grey palettes with designer furniture, light blue deco details and comfortable beds. For the ultimate sunset experience, we would recommend the Junior Deluxe Suite Sunset-Sea view, the Deluxe Suite Sunset-Sea view or the Exclusive Sunset Junior Suite. If privacy is your top-list priority then, you may wish to consider the Cave Junior Suite Private Pool type, which benefits from a generous outdoors area with private swimming pool. We adored the Royal Suite Private Pool Sunset Sea View, which can accommodate up to six guests and impresses with the magical views to the horizon and the sea.
In terms of the villas, lios & Selini Luxury Sunset Villas are more independent to the main establishment and provide an abundance of private amenities and facilities including but not limited to a veranda with private pool, living room, private gym, butler’s room, private sauna and many more.
Location
Santo Maris is located 350 meters away from the village of Oia – 5’ walking distance through traditional footpath – and on a 20-minute drive from the Santorini International Airport (JTR). Connection to the rest of the island is quick and easy by car although you may need to put some more effort if you decide to visit certain beaches; that’s due to Santorini’s natural landscape and the influence that the volcano has had to the island’s surface making some beaches hard to reach yet not impossible. Most of the nightlife is in Fira, the island’s town which is in a short drive from Santo Maris, however, Oia is home to some of the most popular restaurants due to their direct views to the sea and the sunset.
Experience
The feeling ones gets when they are so close to a volcanic source is truly magical. Besides the amazing views and the overall beauty that surrounds you, there is a strange power that fills the air which makes you want to focus on your inner world, disconnect from everything else that is going on in your daily routine and concentrate on the importance of the moment. The hotel embraces the destination’s aura and provides the right environment in order to feel the connection with the earth, the sea and the air whilst enjoying the comfort provided. Surely there are plenty of things to do in Santorini and if you seek activity then this can be arranged, however, most people tend to completely switch-off and use the time to unwind rather than remain active and busy.

What we like about it
We adore the complex’s structure; knowing that although you are within a larger establishment, everything has some level of privacy and absolute serenity and all suites and villas feel exclusive. Everything inside the property has been very well thought-off and one can sense that across all levels. The service standards are high and there is consistency across every department’s performance. The hotel adopts a culinary philosophy dedicated to the highest quality of fresh, local ingredients and specialties from around Greece. It also offers the best of wine and premium champagne labels in a peaceful setting overlooking the majestic sea and sunset views. .The combination of the location, the hotel’s facilities and the services’ quality makes the entire experience extremely unique.
